Bound after: the original 1696 edition (no author's name, Paris, Veuve Coignard). 22 pp. Followed by the Lettre de Me Barthélémy Linand [...] in which he replies to some objections made against his book des Eaux Minérales de Forges. 28 pp. (title incomplete).
Marbled bradel boards, title page on spine (19th c. binding). Small wormholes occasionally affecting text, but not serious. Ex-libris E.P. Ex-libris Georges Lainé. Bookplate J.M. (Frère II, 252.)
Another copy of the second edition, in-8, brown basane, spine ribbed and decorated (contemporary binding). Extensive old handwritten notes on the endpapers, probably by a doctor (Raisonnement juste contre la saignée, Remède pour la goutte, etc.).
