ADELINE (Jules). Rouen in the 16th century from Jacques Le Lieur's manuscript (1525). Twenty etchings with text. Rouen, Lestringant, 1892. Reunion of 4 issues in 1 vol. large in-4 (38 x 31 cm) mounted on tabs, half brown chagrin, spine ribbed and decorated, gilt title, illustrated covers preserved (period binding). 34 out-of-text plates, including plans doubling certain plates and reproducing street layouts and detailed buildings. Overall plan of the plates. Copy no. 44 from an edition limited to 50 copies. All engraved copperplates and lithographic stones have been removed after printing. Minor foxing, several plates browned, otherwise a good copy. Ex-libris JM.
