In-folio (49 x 31.5 cm) of [2] ff, 4 pp, [26] ff, half Russian red leather, ornate smooth spine, gilt title, green title-piece on first board (period binding). Rare edition with engraved title, map and 26 lithographed plates after Monthelier, Tirpenne and Victor Adam. Lithographs on China paper mounted on strong paper, dry stamp of Tirpenne. Hardly any foxing to the engravings. Ex-libris JM. (Frère, II, 322)
