Antiphonary from the 19th century. Festivarium solemne ad usum Eccles. Nosocomii rtomagenesis [Hôtel-Dieu de Rouen].
In-folio (56 x 42 cm) of [2] ff. 141 pp. green morocco, smooth spine decorated with 4 pieces of red morocco with gilded title and fleurons, frieze framing the boards, fleur-de-lys irons in spandrels, arms of the Hôtel-Dieu de Rouen in a circular floral frieze in the center of the boards, gilded roulette on the edges and endpapers (period binding).
Illustrated title with Hôtel-Dieu coat of arms, floral framing on most pages.
Some wear to binding (rubbed), rare brown stains. Ex-libris JM on upper flyleaf.
Enclosed: Office de Sainte Marie-Madeleine, patronne de l'Hôtel Dieu de Rouen, 1848. Large in-8 paperback with 10 handwritten pages, handwritten cover with gold highlights, music and text framed in blue and brown fillets.
