Beautiful reprint on the original copperplates of this collection of Norman women's costumes. The work is illustrated with a frontispiece and 105 colored plates, engraved by Gatine and drawn by Louis-Marie Lanté and Benoît Pécheux. Description of the plates by Pierre Leboux de La Mésangère. Rarely complete, this suite was printed in an edition of 275 copies. A fine copy in contemporary binding (Colas, 1773; Hiler, 526).
