In-folio (348 x 277 mm), 2 ff. o.c., 10 pp. 1 f. o.c., purple glazed half calf, ornate ribbed spine, gilt roulette on covers (contemporary binding). New edition illustrated with 105 plates drawn mainly by Lanté and engraved by Gatine, colored and mounted on tabs. Enriched with 2 plates (Costume de Saint-Lô and Costume drawn at the St Gorgon fair, near Rouen). The title-frontispiece reads "Cent cinq costumes des départemens de la Seine inférieure, du Calvados, de la Manche et de l'Orne". Small scratches on the boards, several repaired tabs, minor spotting on the 2 additional plates and on a few pages, otherwise a fine copy (Colas, 1772).
