First edition, only volume published. The second volume, which was to be devoted to Brittany, did not appear, so new titles were reprinted with the author's name but without any mention of Brittany. Handwritten note by the author's grand-nephew on the title page and on the title page. Ex-libris J.M. (Barbier IV, 1085; Frère II, 31.)
