Handwritten ex-dono by the author on the title page. Ex-libris JM. Spine faded, brown spots. Rare, 4 ex. listed by OCLC. A native of Normandy, Édouard AUBER (1804-1873) was a military pharmacist at the Val-de-Grâce. He wrote several books, including Guide médical du baigneur à la mer (Paris, V. Masson, 1851).
