Facsimile of the autograph manuscript and miniatures of an epic poem written and illustrated by Russian Princess Marina Romanoff (1906-1992), great-granddaughter of Tsar Nicholas I. The illustration consists of the title page, 4 beautiful stencil-colored plates and numerous vignettes in the text. Publisher's copy offered to Mlle Jacqueline Grandjean (the regular edition contains 126 copies, justified and signed by the author). Provenance: family of the publisher Honoré Champion.
