In-8, bradel cardboard, pink silk-covered boards with light pink decor in royal blue jansenist morocco, red mar. title on spine, covers preserved (V. Champs). First separate edition of this tale, first published in the Monsieur Parent collection, with only 100 copies printed on Japon. It is entirely calligraphed and decorated throughout the text by Henriot with 76 lovely watercolors. N°76 is enriched with a suite on Chine of all the illustrations. "Sought-after edition.
