Traduit sur le manuscrit latin par M. Le Laboureur, et par lui-même illustrée de plusieurs commentaires tirez de tous les originaux de ce règne. Paris, Billaine, 1663. 2 vol. in-folio, marbled calf, ornate ribbed spines, title and tom. pages, double gilt fillet framing the boards, DB figure at the corners and repeated at the entrenerfs (period binding). Worn bindings, headbands torn off, corners dulled, jaws split, epidermis. I. 34 ff. n.ch. (title, dedication, preface, table of books and chapters and notice to the reader), 132 pp. (Mémoires pour servir d'introduction à l'Histoire du règne de Charles VI et Tables généalogiques de tous les descendants de Charles VI), pp. 1-540 ; II. (Catalogue de Louis Billaine). Illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of Charles VI by N. de l'Armes, a copper-engraved plate out of the text, and numerous wood-engraved bands, lettrines and culs-de-lampe. Marginal light foxing in places, corner of 4 introductory ff. gnawed with significant loss (without affecting the letter), scattered foxing. Handwritten bookplate F. de Joncières. On the cipher of the Collège de Beauvais in Paris, with printed and handwritten price list on the flyleaf.
