Paris, l'auteur, 1741. In-4 oblong, marbled calf, ornate ribbed spine, gilt fillet on edges. Entirely engraved. It consists of a general title leaf in a handsome engraved cartouche, a dedication leaf to the Comte de Clermont with the general table on the verso, a folded general map, 2 maps for the 1733 campaign, an intermediate title and 39 maps including 1 on a double page for the 1734 campaign, an intermediate title and 15 maps for the 1735 campaign, as well as 13 text leaves. The beautiful plates illustrate Kehl, Mannheim, Schuldbach, Mühlberg, Karlsruhe, Bernkastel, Traben - Trarbach, Bruchsal, Kirrlach, Kronau, Philippsburg, Spire, Heilbronn, Walsheim, Lambsheim, Worms, Oppenheim - Dienheim, Osthofen - Westhofen, Griesheim, Mutterstadt, Speyer, Rheinzabern, Stollhofen - Rheinmünster, Kuppenheim, Rastatt, Willstätt, Appenweier, Offenburg, Renchen, Haslach, Danzig, Haslach, Stadeck, Gau - Algesheim, Eppenheim, Oggersheim, Kaiserslautern, Schönenberg - Kübelberg, St. Wendel, Trier and other towns.
