In-4 oblong (272 x 364 mm) of 2 ff. n. ch., 56 plates, midnight-blue half cloth, muted smooth spine, red leatherette boards, silver gilt title to upper board with gilt vignette on white leatherette piece (publisher's binding). Album of 56 color uniform plates after Édouard Detaille, offering a documentary series of French army uniforms under the Third Republic. The drawings are color zincographic facsimiles of Édouard DETAILLE and Jules RICHARD's L'Armée française. Types d'uniformes (Paris, Boussod & Valadon, [1885-1889]).
