Personal copy of General Legrand (Antoine Vincent Legrand, Maréchal de camp de Napoléon 1er, 1749 - 1859) with his red morocco label affixed to the upper cover and the mention "Mr le Grand Général du Genie". From the libraries of Comte Chandon de Briailles with his label and Ernest van Zuylen (modern bookplate). A fine copy, with minor restorations to the headpieces and a few scattered brown spots.
