In-8 (232 x 168 mm) of 7 ff. n. ch., 45 plates, blue half cloth, smooth mute spine, title in blue on upper cover (publisher's binding).
Album of 45 color plates drawn by A. Goichon and J. Druet showing, front and back, the uniforms of reserve midshipmen, naval officers, petty officers and sailors, as well as special outfits: landing company, watch capote, oiled clothing, outfits for very cold countries, submarine crews, etc. The last six plates are devoted to the uniforms of the French navy. The last six plates are devoted to distinctive markings: rank and specialty braids, buttons, headdress, collar, breast and arm badges.
