In-16, burgundy morocco, smooth ornate spine, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, gilt fillet on the edges, inner gilt roulette. Entirely engraved and illustrated with a frontispiece by Poussin engraved by Tardieu, a title by Chauffard engraved by Tardieu, 2 table pages, 31 double-page maps enhanced in color and 2 privilege pages. The maps, engraved by Durand and Le Roy, all bear the author's name and have been reduced by Giovanni Antonio Battista Rizzi-Zannoni, based on those of the best cartographers of the time, such as d'Anville. A fine copy.
