In-16, red morocco, smooth ornate spine, triple gilt fillet framing the covers with floral motifs in spandrels, gilt fillet on the edges, inner gilt roulette, gilt edges (period binding). Fully engraved work. It includes a fine title-frontispiece by Legrand engraved by Monnet, a dedication leaf, a table leaf, 30 double-page maps, one of them folding, all enhanced in color (including 1 general map of France and 29 special maps), as well as 15 pp. of explanations. Small pink stain and small epidermis on first cover. A precious copy in contemporary morocco.
