Anonymous. Etrennes géographiques. Paris, Ballard, 1760. In-16, red morocco, richly decorated ribbed spine, wide gilded decoration framing the covers with gilded arms in the center, gilded fillet on the edges, inner gilded border, gilded edges (period binding). Entirely engraved. It is illustrated with a title in a handsome engraved frame, a warning leaf, 2 card catalog leaves and 26 double cards enhanced in color. A precious copy in contemporary morocco with the coat of arms and cipher of Elionor-Pierre de Courtin (1741 -1807), cavalry captain in the Bourbon-Busset regiment. Minor marginal wetness, marginal tear restored to first world map.
