Feint oval (old lining; small hole top left; small gaps and dings around the edges; old varnish dirty and yellowed). On the lower left, an old label with the number 6. H. 74.3 - 60 cm (Old stretcher) Gilded and carved wood frame with laurel leaf motif (small gaps). Early version of the Guerchin composition (Canvas; 63 x 49 cm) conserved in Rome at the Pinacoteca Capitolina (Cf. David M. Stone. Guercino, n° 251, p. 260 - Cantini 1991).
