In-folio, brown morocco, richly decorated and fleurdelysé ribbed spine, sextuple gilt fillet framing the covers with gilt motifs in the spandrels, double gilt fillet on the edges, wide inner lace, gilt head. Deluxe edition limited to 101 copies; the author's copy on whatman with the plates before the letter. It is illustrated with a frontispiece, 64 hors-texte plates including several color plans; all on chine appliqué, as well as 71 engravings and facsimile autographs in-text, some full-page, by J. Adeline, A. Boulard, Brunet, Debaines, Léopold Flameng, Léon Gaucherel, Gustave Greux, Habert-Dys, Ad. Lalauze, D. Lancelot, E. Sadoux, H. Toussaint, Ed. Yon, etc. A very fine copy in contemporary morocco.
