3 vol. in-8, half bronze calf, ornate ribbed spines, gilt title and tomaison, place, name and date of edition in tail (period binding). Unstained spines faded to blond.
These volumes include the poem of the battle of Hastings, the dit de Guillaume d'Angleterre, and du roi Guillaume d'Angleterre by Chrestien de Troyes.
Hand-corrected proofs with F. Michel's signed "bon à tirer" for the 16 pages of the Histoire des Anglois.
Spotting otherwise a fine copy.
