In-folio, brown half-chagrin, smooth spine decorated with gilt fleurons and cold-stamped fillets, boards covered with brown chagrined paper, gilt title on front board (period binding). Minor rubbing, corners slightly worn. Several small brown spots. Ex-libris J.M. Complete with 25 etchings representing various views (Nogent, Le Pouliguen, Rouen, Le Croisic, Verneuil, Vannes, Saint Ouen, La Roche, Mizérieux, Sainte Anne, Reuil, La Croule Barbe, La Bouille, Saint Nazaire, Neuilly sur Marne, Morlaix...). With 11 additional engravings by F. Legrip added in fine. Very rare. A native of Rouen, Frédéric Legrip (1817-1871) was a pupil of Eustache-Hyacinthe Langlois, David d'Angers and Joseph Court.
