2 volumes in-8, havane calf with corners, ornate spines, green mar. titles and greefs (period binding).
Illustrated with 2 folding maps drawn and engraved by Tardieu, two frontispieces, 33 off-text chine vignettes (ch. 1-35) and one off-text plate n. ch. (Rouen Cathedral). Freckling, several leaves browned (especially in volume II).
Rare separate edition of volumes VII and VIII of L'Hermite en Province with a new title. "Although included in M. De Jouy's collection of l'Hermite en Province, l'Hermite en Norm. is due to M. Lefebvre-Duruflé. At the time of the in-8 reprint of the complete works of M. E. De Jouy, M. Lefebvre-Duruflé revised his work with new care and had several copies printed separately [...]" Frère.
