JOLIMONT (Théodore de). Les Principaux Edifices de la Ville de Rouen en 1525 dessinés à cette époque sur les plans d'un livre manuscrit conservé aux Archives de la Ville, appelé le Livre des Fontaines reproduits en fac-similé [...] Rouen, Péron, 1845.
Large in-4, blond glazed calf, richly decorated ribbed spine, red and brown marble title and imprint, double framing of triple gilded fillet with fleurons on spandrels, gilded edges, int. lace (Bauzonnet-Trautz).
[2] ff. with LVI pp. illustrated with lettering and cul-de-lampe, folding view and 50 plates (including intermediate title). Very slight scattered foxing.
Edition of 120 copies. Head copy no. 1, with ornaments and initial letters hand-painted and gilded by the author for his friend M. de l'Aage (signed by the author), and with all plates printed in color, then finished and retouched by hand.
A very fine copy with:
- two leaflets
- a notice for the coloring of the plates
- an autograph receipt signed by the author in 1846.
