First edition, illustrated with an engraved frontispiece and a fold-out map (thus locating the earthly paradise in present-day Iraq near Basra). Paper slightly yellowed in places, otherwise a very fine copy. Ex-libris Maurice Heuzey. Bookplate J.M. Also included: Huetiana, ou pensées diverses de M. Huet, evesque d'Avranches. Paris, J.
