La Haye, Aux dépens de la compagnie, 1740. 4 parts in one vol. in-12 blond calf, ornate ribbed spine, green mar. title page, double gilt fillet framing the boards, red tr. (Paulin). Frontispiece portrait of the actress. "The comedian Gaillard de la Bataille, who had been a hero and witness to the early exploits of this famous girl, furious at having been left by her, published this work, first in 2 parts, then published 2 others; the scene (...) shows Clairon [Cronel] in officers' party or in the arms of a marquis, a traitor, etc." Gay, I, 641.
