FARIN (Fr.). History of the City of Rouen. Rouen, Le Brun, 1738. 6 parts bound in 2 vol. in-4, marbled calf, ornate ribbed spines, gilt roulette on the edges. The last and most complete edition, illustrated with a large folded plan. Of interest to historians, it contains events since 1668 (Frère I, 456). Bound with the figure of the Dauphin at the tail of the spines (Louis de France 1729 - 1765, eldest son of Louis XV and Marie Leszczynska). A fine copy.
