In-8 red half-maroquin, spine ribbed with cold filets, gilt title, gilt arms on tail (Château de Vatimesnil). A few small brown spots.
Very rare first edition published under pseudonym and illustrated with a fine etching as frontispiece.
A fine copy enriched with a L.A.S. from the author to the bibliographer Quérard (La France littéraire) about several Norman authors.
