- a signed printed letter from the publisher A. Lestringant to M. Chanoine-Davranches, Rouen September 12, 1910, outlining the background to the publication of the work a few months before Jules Adeline's death
- an original photograph of Jules Adeline and his wife (Le Havre, Sept. 1907, mounted on cardboard)
- an offprint of the frontispiece photograph of Mme Adeline (1855-1907) with E.A.S. from Jules Adeline to M. et Mme Lestringant (January 1908)
- 2 menus illustrated by J. Adeline, before the letter.
