Original manuscript in-4 oblong of [3] ff. 46 pp. [2] ff. calligraphied in black ink and decorated with numerous original watercolors carefully laid out on the page. Size 20 x 25 cm. Light blue boards illustrated with watercolor vignettes and title in gilt lettering on front board. Very worn boards, first cover detached with paper missing.
This story of a young Bambara discovering the joys of aviation with pilots (with all the most primitive racism that could exist at the time), seems never to have been published. E.A.S. from the illustrator to his teacher.
