First edition, first printing (continuous pagination). Illustrated with 2 frontispieces, 49 (of 50) color plates and 2 black plates for botany.
Worn, loose bindings (inner spine split), one spine damaged, headcaps missing, corners dulled, gutter uneven. A copy in its sought-after publisher's binding, in need of resumption (Vicaire III, 133).
