Paris, Delaulne, 1730. 2 volumes bound in an in-4 volume, red morocco, ornate ribbed spines, triple gilt fillet framing the covers, double gilt fillet on the edges, interior roulette, gilt edges (period binding). Fine edition illustrated with a frontispiece by Charles-Antoine Coypel, a folding map of Telemachus' voyage and 24 bandeaux, 24 lettrines and 24 hors-texte plates drawn by Coypel, Humblot, Souville and engraved by Lebas, Scotin, etc. (Cohen 380.) A precious copy in contemporary morocco, with some spotting, mainly angular and more pronounced on the title and frontispiece.
