In-16 of [6] ff. 88 pp. Green half-maroquin with corners, ribbed spine, gilt title (late 19th c. binding).
This diatribe contains the Epître à Alcandre, reproduced in the Nouvelles Remarques... by the same author. It was republished in Lyon in 1686 with a few minor differences, then again in 1689 under a new title "Le Satyrique français expirant".
"Pamphlet against Boileau and Racine. The works criticized are the Discours au Roy and the first 3 Satyres." Tchemerzine.
