In-4 of [4] ff. (2 mss and 2 blanks) and X-156 pp. calligraphed in black and red ink in a red border frame with numerous ornaments and illustrations drawn in polychrome and filled with 25 engravings depicting scenes from the New Testament.
Red morocco, ribbed spine richly and finely decorated with small irons, gilt title, beautiful wide gilt framing lace with small irons on the boards, with gilt arms in the center, reinforced spandrels in gilt metal, gilt edges, dominoté paper endpapers (period binding). Headcap missing.
Beautiful manuscript written by Louis Augustin MARYE, prior of La Madeleine in Rouen, and bound with his coat of arms.
