SENAULT (Elisabeth). New hours dedicated to Monseigneur Dauphin. Written and engraved by Elisabeth Senault. Paris, at the home of the author and M. Frontié and Claude de Hansy, sd (c. 1700). In-16 of [4]-212 pp. entirely engraved in cursive script. Filled with 4 out-of-text engravings framed or surrounded by a gilt line (one coloured). Havana morocco, spine ribbed and decorated, wide and beautiful framing lace on the covers, roulette on the bowls and the hunts, gilt tr., counter plates lined with pink tabis (binding of the period). Ex-libris O. Picard. Very nice example of calligraphy engraved by the daughter of the engraver Louis Senault in a beautiful morocco binding of the time.
