Le Havre, Morlent, 1840. 9 parts bound in 1 vol. in-4 green half calf, smooth spine decorated with romantic gilt irons (with the arms of Le Havre). Le Havre, Ingouville, Montivilliers, Criquetot, Goderville, Fécamp, Bolbec, Lillebonne and Saint-Romain. 9 frontispiece titles, 2 folding maps and 1 large folding map (tears restored), 50 plates without text. This work is not finished, the publisher had intended to give a description of the whole of Normandy under the title "Normandy picturesque" (a title which can be found on the false-title page of this copy) but this project was not carried out. (Brother, II, 329.) Used bits, rubbed caps, scattered freckles.
